Roebuck replaces injured Kheating in England squad
Ellie Roebuck is back in the England squad for the first time in two years, after Sarina Wiegman suffered another goalkeeping injury blow.
Ellie Roebuck has received her first England call-up since 2023 to replace the injured Khiara Keating.
Keating has withdrawn from the squad after sustaining a small groin injury in training on Friday and has returned to Manchester City.
As such, Roebuck has been added to Sarina Wiegman's squad for their friendlies against China and Ghana.
Roebuck has 11 caps for England and was part of the squads for both the 2022 European Championship triumph and the 2023 World Cup, when the Lionesses reached the final.
The goalkeeping position has been in the spotlight this international break, with number one Hannah Hampton out of the squad with a thigh injury.
Keating had looked favourite to start on Saturday against China, having earned her first cap last month, with the uncapped Anna Moorhouse and Sophie Baggaley the other options for Wiegman.
