‘Vlahovic has worked as an example’ – Tudor praises striker amid Milan rumours

Dusan Vlahovic helped Juventus start their Serie A campaign with back-to-back victories after scoring the winner against Genoa.
Igor Tudor has labelled Dusan Vlahovic “as an example” to other players as the striker continued his scoring form.
The Serbia international scored the winner in Juventus’ 1-0 win over Genoa as the Bianconeri started their Serie A campaign with back-to-back victories.
Vlahovic also scored in their 2-0 win over Parma, now finding the back of the net 11 times in 14 Serie A matches in the month of August.
Among all players to play at least 10 games in August in Serie A's three-points-for-a-win era, Vlahovic has the best goals-per-game ratio, with 0.79.
The former Fiorentina forward has been linked with a move away from Turin this summer, with AC Milan and Atletico Madrid reportedly interested in the 25-year-old.
Tudor insisted Vlahovic will stay with Juventus, while praising the striker’s mentality amid the transfer rumours.
“I’ll repeat what I have already said. In this month and a half of preparation he has always been focused, he has worked as an example,” said Tudor.
“[Juventus general manager] Comolli said he is staying and I’m happy. He is a strong player and hopefully he keeps up this scoring rate, which is no small thing.
“Only two games have been played. I want to go match by match and do our best in the next one. Stay focused and train well, then we’ll see where this mindset and way of working takes us.”
