Juventus fell to a 2-0 defeat away at Como in Serie A on Sunday, with Nico Paz registering a goal and an assist for the hosts.

Manuel Locatelli called for Juventus to "give more" after the Bianconeri succumbed to a 2-0 defeat against Cesc Fabregas' Como.

The hosts got off to a flying start at Stadio Giuseppe Sinigaglia, as they netted inside just four minutes from a well-worked corner routine, before Nico Paz scored a stunning curling effort to put the game out of reach in the 79th minute.

Juve, who are now winless in their last six games in all competitions, had not lost to Como in Serie A since 1952, and were unbeaten against them in 23 league matches.

Yet, the visitors mustered up an xG rate of just 0.88, only registering three shots on target from their 15 attempts.

"We can't allow ourselves to lose these games, we slipped up on the details that make the difference and determine the result," Locatelli said.

"We've spoken internally, and some things need to be improved. We lost a few too many battles, and today we knew it'd be a physical game.

"We needed to get the ball out wide with more urgency, because they make the difference out there. We need to give more than what we are."

The Bianconeri are on a run of four league games without a victory (drawn three, lost one), their longest such sequence since recording four straight draws between November and December 2024.

"It was a difficult game against a well-organised team," added head coach Igor Tudor.

“We conceded from a set-piece, but we did interesting things, like they did in the first half. In the second, it was a bit fragmented because of the way they played. After it went 2-0, the game was over."
