Pierre-Emerick's stay in the Saudi Pro League is over after a single season as he terminated his contract with Al-Qadsiah a year early.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has left Al-Qadsiah after one season, ahead of a rumoured return to Marseille.

Aubameyang joined the Saudi Pro League side from Marseille on a two-year deal at the start of last season following Al-Qadsiah's promotion to the top-tier.

However, he has opted to terminate his contract early, with reports suggesting he could be heading back to France as a free agent.

Aubameyang scored 21 goals across 36 appearances in all competitions, with 17 of those coming in the league, making him the sixth-highest scorer in the Saudi Pro League.

He had more shots on target than anyone else in the side (55), finishing the campaign with a 14.7% shot conversion rate.

Aubameyang helped Al-Qadsiah to a fourth-place finish in the top-flight and reached the King's Cup final, which they lost to Al-Ittihad.

The 36-year-old had previously spent one season at Marseille, joining them from Chelsea in July 2023.

He made 51 appearances in all competitions, netting 30 goals in his sole campaign with them while registering 11 assists.
