Aston Villa continued their resurgence on Sunday, coming from behind to snatch all three points at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Unai Emery dedicated Aston Villa's victory over Tottenham to their supporters, after they came from behind to secure all three points in North London.

Villa made a slow start at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, where they fell behind to Rodrigo Bentancur's deflected strike after just five minutes.

However, Morgan Rogers' stunning 20-yard effort drew the visitors level, while Emiliano Buendia was also on target from distance to snatch all three points in the 77th minute.

That extended resurgent Villa's winning streak to five matches in all competitions, and lifted them into the top half of the Premier League table.

Emery had the likes of Buendia and Ollie Watkins back on the bench, though he is still without Youri Tielemans and Tyrone Mings, and feels his team will continue to grow as they get back to full strength.

"Firstly, our supporters were here, and they were helping. Of course, we were playing for them," he told BBC Sport.

"The way the players responded, even when we were losing 1-0. This is the way we are trying to get better at, and try to build the team with this structure.

"We are recovering some players. The dressing room is different now. Substitutes are very important. Now, we need to recover some injured players. Hopefully, players will come back and will try and help us with their qualities."

Buendia completed the turnaround with his third goal in four games, and the in-form midfielder praised his team-mates' determination.

"It feels amazing to come here, it's such a difficult place to play and a really difficult opponent," he told Sky Sports. "The team showed character to come back and get a win.

"I was preparing myself to run back for the counter-attack. But I could help the team with the goal. It is really important for confidence and to help the team."

"It's a massive win," Matty Cash added. "We were resilient all over the pitch, and then Emi comes on and scores the winner.

"We had a tough start to the season, everyone knows that. But all you can do is work hard and stick to what we've done over the past few years. We've picked up some great results, a really good win here, and hopefully we can keep up the momentum."
