Everton are looking to get back to winning ways against unbeaten Crystal Palace, and David Moyes believes Jack Grealish could be key.

Despite his impressive start to life at Everton, David Moyes believes there is another level for Jack Grealish to reach, with unbeaten Crystal Palace up next.

Grealish has proven a key figure for Moyes since joining Everton on loan from Manchester City and has already registered four assists for his new club.

Everton are currently ninth in the Premier League table and are looking to end a three-match winless run (D2 L1) in the competition before the international break.

And Moyes is aware of how important Grealish, who was omitted from Thomas Tuchel's England squad for the October fixtures, will be to do that, claiming that he expects him to continue improving week on week.

"I think there's still room for Jack to improve. We want more from him – more assists from him and goals from him, as well," Moyes said.

"He's started very well, but we're driving him on and trying to get more from him.

"I still think his ambition is to get back in the England team. If he scores some goals and keeps up the assists, he won't be far away."

Meanwhile, Palace extended their unbeaten streak in all competitions to 19 matches on Thursday as they began their maiden European campaign with a 2-0 win over Dynamo Kyiv in the Conference League.

They are the only team left in the Premier League not to lose this season after a last-gasp win over champions Liverpool last weekend, and they sit third in the table.

Oliver Glasner is delighted with his team's start to the campaign and highlighted their "hunger" to keep their remarkable streak going.

"They are so hungry to succeed, and so ambitious, and of course, we want to keep them pushing, and it is really easy to keep the focus high," said Glasner.

"Every single competition is the same, it is as important as the other one, and this is how we want to continue, game by game, and doing the best every single game.

"I don't think about this [unbeaten] run, because it has already happened, so for me, it is important what comes next."

PLAYERS TO WATCH

Everton – Jack Grealish

Grealish has created more chances than any other player in the Premier League this season (17), while he has also won the most fouls (22).

Among players to play 400+ minutes in a season for the Toffees on record since 2003-04, it is the most chances created per 90 minutes (3.3) and most fouls won per 90 (4.3) by any player.

Crystal Palace – Eddie Nketiah

Eddie Nketiah has netted three goals in his last four Premier League appearances, despite only playing 139 minutes in those games.

His winner vs Liverpool was scored on his 100th sub appearance in the competition – among players to play 100+ matches in Premier League history, only Divock Origi (68.5%) has played a higher percentage from the bench than Nketiah (100/147, 68%).

MATCH PREDICTION: CRYSTAL PALACE WIN

Crystal Palace are winless in each of their last 10 Premier League away games against Everton (D4 L6) since a 3-2 victory in September 2014 under Neil Warnock.

They are expected to end that run on Sunday, though, as they aim to extend their unbeaten streak to 13 matches in the Premier League, which would set a new club record for unbeaten top-flight league games.

Everton have lost just one of their last 21 Premier League meetings with Palace (W11 D9. Indeed, among all sides they have faced 20+ times in the competition, their points-per-game rate of 1.8 against the Eagles is bettered only against West Brom (1.9).

The Toffees have only won four of their last 31 Premier League matches against sides starting the day in the top-half of the table (D11 L16) – 15 of their last 19 victories have come against sides in the bottom half.

And they face a tough test to improve that record as Palace have won seven away Premier League matches in 2025 – they last enjoyed more away wins in a year back in 2019 (nine).
