After missing the last six weeks through injury, Ousmane Dembele is set to make his return for Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League.

Paris Saint-Germain have been handed a huge boost ahead of their Champions League clash with Bayer Leverkusen, with Ousmane Dembele included in their travelling squad.

Dembele has missed seven games in all competitions for PSG this season after sustaining a hamstring injury in September, but he looks set to make his comeback on Tuesday.

The 28-year-old enjoyed a stellar campaign in 2024-25, registering 46 goal involvements (33 goals, 13 assists) in all competitions for Luis Enrique's side.

His impressive form in front of goal saw him lift the Ballon d'Or last month, becoming only the second PSG player to do so, after eight-time winner Lionel Messi back in 2021.

Dembele started the 2025-26 campaign strongly with two goals and one assist in three Ligue 1 appearances before getting injured while on international duty with France.

The forward played a key part in PSG's maiden success in Europe's elite competition last year.

He scored eight goals and provided six assists for his team-mates in the competition, the second-most goal involvements by a French player in a single edition of the competition after former Real Madrid forward Karim Benzema in 2021-22 (17).

Dembele also became the first player to provide two assists in a Champions League final since Marcelo for Real Madrid in 2018 during their 5-0 rout of Inter.

And the Parisiens have made a strong start to their title defence this year, winning their opening two fixtures in the league phase against Atalanta and Barcelona.

The reigning European and French champions have also welcomed Desire Doue and Khvicha Kvaratskhelia back into the mix, with the latter a substitute against Strasbourg at the weekend.

They are, however, still missing midfield duo Fabian Ruiz and Joao Neves.

PSG would equal their longest ever winning run in the Champions League/European Cup with a victory against Leverkusen (currently on a five-game streak), with the previous six-game run achieved between September and December 1994.
