Tottenham suffered their 10th home defeat of 2025, after Thomas Frank's side went down 2-1 against Fulham on Saturday.

Thomas Frank slammed "unacceptable" booing from Tottenham's fans, during their side's defeat against Fulham.

Spurs were beaten at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium once again, with Fulham running out 2-1 winners on Saturday.

Frank's side found themselves 2-0 down after just five minutes and 43 seconds, the earliest they had ever fallen two goals behind in a Premier League home game.

Kenny Tete's strike and a long-range Harry Wilson effort, which followed Guglielmo Vicario's blunder, led to widespread boos from the home faithful.

The supporters' discontent continued after the final whistle, with Spurs suffering their third defeat in the space of seven days.

It was also their 10th loss at home in 2025, their joint-most in a single calendar year (also 10 in 1994 and 2003).

"When you're down 2-0 after six minutes, there is a mountain to climb," Frank said. "When you're in a bad spell, everything seems to go against you as well – the first was a deflected shot, the second is a mistake from Vicario.

"I didn't like that our fans booed at him straight after, and a few times after that. They can't be true Tottenham fans because everyone supports each other when you're on the pitch, and we do everything we can to perform.

"I'm fine with them booing after the match, no problem, but not during. That is unacceptable in my opinion.

"After that, we rushed the first half in many ways. We wanted to come back into the game, but couldn't do it in the first half, but we got much better in the second half.

"We got a bit of momentum, created more chances and opportunities, but couldn't get the second goal.

"It was an emotional performance in the second half, and I think that's quite normal. We know that we badly want to win at home, so when it's not going your way, it is hard. That's why you need to stick to the plan, be cool and not stress. It is easier said than done."

Fulham, meanwhile, secured their first Premier League away win over Tottenham since March 2013, and put further distance between themselves and the relegation zone.

Marco Silva's side had to hold on for the final half an hour after Mohammed Kudus pulled a goal back, but the Cottagers boss was full of praise for his players' efforts in doing so.

"I'm very proud of the boys," he told Premier League Productions. "It was very important for us to win.

"What a great first half from us! We were clinical, but we should have scored more. The first 35 minutes – we didn't give them anything.

"In the second half, we suffered more than we should have. We didn't start well, and they boosted their confidence. But the togetherness was there, and we deserved the three points."
