Hudson-Odoi credits Dyche with doing an 'amazing' job at Forest
Nottingham Forest have shown drastic improvement under Sean Dyche and Callum Hudson-Odoi paid tribute to his manager.
Callum Hudson-Odoi credited Sean Dyche with doing an "amazing" job and repairing "connections" among the squad at Nottingham Forest.
It has been a hectic campaign for the Tricky Trees, who sacked Nuno Espirito Santo at the start of September despite him leading the club to European football last season.
His successor, Ange Postecoglou, lasted just eight games in charge, losing six and winning none of those contests before he was dismissed.
Since Dyche was appointed to replace the Australian, Forest have won three and lost just once in six games across all competitions – including a pulsating 2-2 draw with Manchester United and the outstanding 3-0 win over Liverpool at Anfield last time out.
Hudson-Odoi, speaking prior to Forest's Europa League clash at home to Malmo on Thursday, waxed lyrical over the effect Dyche has had on the squad since taking the helm.
"Sean and his staff have come in and done an amazing job," Hudson-Odoi said.
"You can tell the energy around the group has changed and everybody's just working as hard as we can to get the best possible results.
"The bond and strength that we have had before will come back, and you can tell we are wanting to fight for every game we play in.
"A lot has changed. I think it was a bit scratched a while ago. The group has reconnected very well and everybody is just focusing on doing what we know best - which is playing football and enjoying football.
"It's just the connections that were a bit lost for a while, but now I think everything's connecting back nicely. Everybody's working hard to do the right things and hopefully keep getting good results."
