There will be four all-Premier League ties in the last 16 of the EFL Cup, while Wrexham have been drawn at home to a fellow Welsh side.

Holders Newcastle United will host Tottenham in the last 16 of the EFL Cup, while Premier League champions Liverpool will take on FA Cup victors Crystal Palace.

Newcastle reached the fourth round with a 4-1 victory over League One leaders Bradford City on Wednesday, while Spurs beat Doncaster Rovers 3-0.

Eddie Howe's side will now welcome Thomas Frank's men to St James' Park for the pick of the last-16 ties, which will be held in the week commencing October 27.

There are four all-Premier League ties in total, with Arsenal taking on Brighton and Wolves hosting Chelsea.

Liverpool will get a chance to avenge their Community Shield defeat to Palace last month, with the teams also preparing to meet at Selhurst Park in the Premier League on Saturday.
