Bryan Mbeumo, Matheus Cunha and Diego Leon will feature on Manchester United's tour of the United States, with Harry Maguire joining late.

Harry Maguire will join up with Manchester United for their pre-season tour of the United States one day late, while new signing Bryan Mbeumo has been included in their party.

Maguire was a notable absentee from United's squad on Tuesday as they travelled to the United States for matches against West Ham United, Bournemouth and Everton.

Reports claimed Maguire had missed United's flight to deal with a personal issue, and he subsequently took to social media to assure fans that was the case.

Maguire will follow the team on Wednesday, but Jadon Sancho, Alejandro Garnacho, Antony and Tyrell Malacia have been left out of the touring squad after requesting moves away from Old Trafford.

Marcus Rashford is the other big-name absentee, as he closes in on a loan-to-buy move to Barcelona.

Mbeumo was included in the initial 32-man squad after completing his move from Brentford and could make his debut against West Ham at MetLife Stadium on Saturday.

Matheus Cunha – who started Saturday's goalless draw with Leeds United in Sweden – is also present, as is Diego Leon following his switch from Cerro Porteno.

Lisandro Martinez will make the trip as he continues his rehabilitation from a knee injury, but he will not feature in any of United's matches on the tour.
