Manchester United scored via two set-piece routines against Crystal Palace and Ruben Amorim made an interesting admission.

Ruben Amorim suggested Manchester United are "stealing" set-piece routines from their Premier League rivals after Sunday's comeback 2-1 win at Crystal Palace.

The Red Devils were trailing to Jean-Philippe Mateta's first-half penalty at Selhurst Park.

However, Joshua Zirkzee and Mason Mount were on target as United fought back after the break to earn all three points, with both of their goals coming via Bruno Fernandes free-kicks.

Seven of United's 10 away goals in the Premier League this season have been scored from set-pieces (excluding penalties), the joint-most of any side in the competition along with Chelsea.

And United boss Amorim said he and his coaching team have been learning by watching what other teams in the top flight are doing.

"We work a lot. We have more time to work, we work a lot and we learn a lot in England," Amorim said.

"I think you are used to seeing that, but when you come to the Premier League, you learn a lot with other teams how to do it and we are stealing a lot of things to score goals."

Fernandes provided his 55th and 56th assists for United in the Premier League, moving him past Paul Scholes (55) and with only Ryan Giggs (162), Wayne Rooney (93), and David Beckham (80) providing more for the Red Devils in the competition than him.

Amorim felt that United's comeback was borne out of an improved intensity after the break.

He added: "I just said to the players we need to be more alive and you can feel that.

"So if you are more alive, you are in more places, you are near the ball more often. I think everyone did that.

"But we also need to understand that the opponent was tired also in the second half.

"And when you increase the rhythm and the opponent gets tired a little bit, suffers right away a goal, you felt that we had the control of the game and that's it."
