Al-Nassr have made it six wins from six to start the Saudi Pro League season, with their star attackers on target against Al-Hazem.

Al-Nassr went three points clear at the top of the Saudi Pro League as goals from Joao Felix and Cristiano Ronaldo secured a 2-0 win over Al-Hazem.

Al-Nassr's perfect start to the season hardly looked to be derailed on Saturday, with Al-Hazem mustering just 0.07 expected goals (xG).

Kingsley Coman and Angelo were both denied by Bruno Varela in the early stages as Al-Nassr started on the front foot, and the pressure told in the 25th minute, with Joao Felix rising high to meet Aiman Yahya's cross and flick a looping header into the top-right corner.

Joao Felix then saw a left-footed strike cleared off the line before Angelo's long-range effort deflected onto the crossbar just before the break.

Varela pulled off a remarkable reflex save to deny Ronaldo early in the second half, with Al-Hazem dropping deeper and deeper.

However, Ronaldo wrapped up all three points in the 88th minute, meeting Wesley's delivery first time, and scuffing his effort into the ground to send it bouncing in over Varela.

Data Debrief: Ronaldo continues hot streak

Ronaldo had to wait until late on for his goal, but he netted for the sixth time this season, scoring in his fourth consecutive match (five goals in total).

And Joao Felix wrote his name into the history books – he has scored nine goals in six games this season, equalling Aleksandar Mitrovic's Pro League record from 2024.

Al-Nassr have now gone unbeaten in their last six matches against Al-Hazem (W5 D1), scoring at least twice in each of those matches.

Jorge Jesus' side piled on the pressure up top throughout, having 19 shots worth 1.37 expected goals (xG), allowing Al-Hazem to have just three attempts going the other way.
