Theo Hernandez has chosen to leave AC Milan after six years at the club, swapping Serie A for the Saudi Pro League as he joins Al-Hilal.

Theo Hernandez has finalised his move to Al-Hilal from AC Milan.

New Milan head coach Massimiliano Allegri had confirmed earlier this week that Hernandez had decided to leave the club to join former Inter boss Simone Inzaghi at Al-Hilal.

The Saudi Pro League club announced his arrival on Thursday, with the left-back signing a three-year contract in a deal reportedly worth €20m.

Hernandez was a key player for Milan in his six-year spell in Italy, making 262 appearances for them in all competitions.

He scored 34 goals and registered 41 assists, while also contributing to 70 clean sheets.

Hernandez helped Milan win their 19th Scudetto under Stefano Pioli in 2021-22 and was also part of the team that clinched the Supercoppa Italiana in January, amidst a disappointing season for the club.

The 27-year-old created the third-most chances amongst Milan players in Serie A last season (47), while only Christian Pulisic (119) played more crosses than Hernandez (112).
