Noni Madueke has been linked with a move away from Chelsea, and Enzo Maresca will not stand in the way of any unhappy player.

Chelsea boss Enzo Maresca only wants to keep players who are happy at the club.

Maresca's comments came as he was quizzed over the future of winger Noni Madueke.

The England international has been linked with a move away from the Blues, who have already been active in the transfer market.

Chelsea have bolstered their attack with moves for Liam Delap, Joao Pedro and Dario Essugo, while Palmeiras wonderkid Estevao will join them after the Club World Cup.

According to reports, Chelsea have made 23-year-old Madueke available for a transfer, with Arsenal among the clubs having been linked.

"Noni has been very important for us," said Maresca when asked about Madueke following Chelsea's quarter-final win over Palmeiras at the Club World Cup.

"But my message to the players and to the club is that I just want players that are happy to be with us.

"The ones that are not happy, they are free to go. Noni has been very good during the season."

Madueke was a consistent performer for Chelsea last season. He made 32 Premier League appearances, with 27 of those being starts, and contributed to 10 goals in the competition (seven goals, three assists).

Among Chelsea players in the league, only Cole Palmer attempted (100) and completed (51) more dribbles than Madueke, who joined the Blues from PSV in 2023.
