The draw for the EFL Cup semi-finals has been made, with ties to be played in the first full weeks of January and February.
Arsenal have been drawn to face Newcastle United while Tottenham will take on Liverpool in the EFL Cup semi-finals.
The Gunners will take on Eddie Howe's side at home in the first leg, while Spurs will welcome the Premier League leaders to north London before returning to Anfield.
Liverpool have won this competition in two of the last three seasons and progressed to this stage by beating Southampton 2-1 at St Mary's on Wednesday.
Tottenham, meanwhile, are aiming to win silverware for the first time since lifting this trophy in 2008.
They edged out Manchester United by a 4-3 scoreline in a thrilling quarter-final on Thursday, with Son Heung-min scoring what proved to be the winner direct from a corner.
