Keane urges Everton to string together 90-minute performances

Everton need to put together a 90-minute display if they are to correct their form, so says defender Michael Keane.

Michael Keane has urged Everton to string together a full performance rather than playing to their potential in fits and starts, ahead of Saturday's clash with Fulham.

Everton welcome Fulham to Hill Dickinson Stadium on a run of just one win in eight games across all competitions.

The Toffees were excellent in the opening 30 minutes against Sunderland on Monday, but failed to build on Iliman Ndiaye's fine goal and instead had to hold on for a 1-1 draw at the Stadium of Light.

They sit 14th in the Premier League heading into the weekend, one point and a place above Fulham.

Keane believes positive results will come once Everton manage to hit a consistent level through matches.

“We haven't had a clean sheet for a while,” Keane told Everton's official website.

“But yeah, we'd definitely like to put the ball in the back of the net more. We've had some good chances.

“It's not just happening at the minute, but we have to take responsibility for that as a whole team and all work on it together.

“I think we can definitely turn [our form] around. Recently, we haven't got the results. I'm not going to say a lot of the performances, but big periods of these matches, we've played well. We just need to do it for 90 minutes.

“I know it's easy for me to say that, but it's something we need to work on.

"But the confidence is definitely there. I think when we are playing well, we're a better team than what we have been for a long time. It’s just about getting them goals and getting that confidence back in front of goal and getting back to clean sheets.”

Fulham, meanwhile, snapped a four-game losing streak in the league by beating lowly Wolves 3-0 last time out.

After winning 22 consecutive home league games against Fulham between 1961 and 2018, Everton are now winless in their last four against the Cottagers (D1 L3).

PLAYERS TO WATCH

Everton - Iliman Ndiaye

Ndiaye has been in fine form as of late, and his terrific solo goal against Sunderland was a sign of his confidence. He is Everton's leading scorer with four goals this season - no other Toffees player has netted more than twice.

Worryingly for David Moyes, Ndiaye was forced off with apparent cramp at the Stadium of Light, so the Everton manager will be hoping his talisman is fit to feature.

Fulham - Ryan Sessegnon

Only Raul Jimenez (seven) has scored more Premier League goals for Fulham in 2025 than Sessegnon (six).

Sessegnon has two more goals in 2025 (six in 23 games) than he managed in 75 appearances between 2018 and 2024 (four).

Alex Iwobi scored in the corresponding fixture last season, meanwhile, and will be another Fulham threat for Everton's defence to contend with.

MATCH PREDICTION: EVERTON WIN

Everton lost 3-0 in their last home Premier League match against Spurs, their first defeat at the Hill Dickinson Stadium. The Toffees last suffered consecutive home defeats in December and January last season, while under Moyes they last did so back in October 2011.

Fulham have, though, lost just one of their last seven Premier League games against Everton (W3 D3), but it was in their last meeting at Craven Cottage in May (1-3).

Marco Silva's team registered their third Premier League win of the season on MD10 against Wolves (D2 L5), though all three wins have come at home. The Cottagers have lost their last four away from home, last losing more in a row between November and January in the 2023-24 season.

Moyes has won 19 of his 32 Premier League games against Fulham (D4 L9), at least seven more than he has versus any other side.

He could become just the third manager to win 20+ times against a single club in the competition, after Alex Ferguson (against eight teams) and Arsene Wenger (four teams).

OPTA WIN PROBABILITY

Everton - 45.8%

Draw - 26.8%

Fulham - 27.4%
