Fer Lopez is Wolves' first signing of the transfer window as the forward joins from Celta Vigo.

Wolves have announced the signing of forward Fer Lopez from Celta Vigo.

The 21-year-old signed a five-year contract at Molineux, after a reported £19m deal from Spain.

Lopez is Wolves' first signing of this transfer window following the exits of Matheus Cunha and Rayan Ait-Nouri to Manchester United and Manchester City, respectively.

The attacker made his senior debut for Celta in October 2024, scoring four goals in 20 appearances across all competitions last season.

"It is an amazing opportunity for my career to play in the Premier League, and I'm very happy," Lopez told the Wolves website.

"[Manager] Vitor [Pereira] told me he thought I was a good fit in the squad, and when it's a club like this, you have little to think about.

"The team did very good when Vitor came, and I think he is top, so I'm very excited to be with him.

"I played at the Bernabeu twice, Barcelona and Atletico Madrid - they were the best atmospheres in Spain, and now I want to do the same, but in England."

Lopez becomes the fourth player to play for Celta Vigo and Wolves after Jonny Castro, Diego Costa, and Jorgen Strand Larsen.

Wolves will begin the 2025-26 Premier League season by hosting Man City on August 16.
