In-form Kane fit for England duty despite Bayern blow

England may have been sweating over the fitness of Harry Kane on Saturday, but the Bayern Munich striker says he is "okay".
Harry Kane has no doubts over his availability for England, despite limping off during Bayern Munich's 3-0 win over Eintracht Frankfurt on Saturday.
The Bayern talisman was forced off with five minutes remaining at Deutsche Bank Park, having suffered a knock to his ankle following a challenge from Kaua Santos.
Kane is due to meet up with the England squad next week for the October internationals, in which Thomas Tuchel's side host Wales in a friendly on Thursday before their World Cup qualifier in Latvia.
"I'm okay. It was a contact to the bone. I had it a few weeks ago, and it was in the same spot today," the 32-year-old said, before assuring his fitness for England.
"A few days and it'll be fine. Yes, I'll be there Monday."
His declaration of fitness will be music to the ears of Tuchel, who may have been worried about missing his talisman and captain for the next block of international fixtures.
Kane has been in ridiculous form for Bayern this season, scoring 11 Bundesliga goals and managing four strikes in just two Champions League outings.
Indeed, he is the first player in Bundesliga history to score 11 goals on the first six matchdays of a season.
His prowess in front of goal, as well as a double for Luis Diaz away to Eintracht, has helped Bayern to a perfect six wins from six league games, leaving them four points clear at the Bundesliga summit.
They have won each of their first 10 competitive matches this season under Vincent Kompany – a new club record since their promotion to the German top flight in 1965.
Kompany will now hope that Kane returns from international duty free of any fitness issues, ahead of an enticing Klassiker with second-placed Borussia Dortmund on October 18.
