Thomas Tuchel recalled Jude Bellingham to England's squad for their upcoming fixtures, with the midfielder missing out last month.

Thomas Tuchel stressed he has no issues with Jude Bellingham after the Real Madrid star returned to the England fold.

Bellingham was injured for the September international break but had returned to fitness by the time last month's fixtures rolled around.

Tuchel, however, controversially left the 22-year-old out of his squad, as England beat Wales in a friendly before hammering Latvia to seal their place at the 2026 World Cup.

Bellingham has been in fine form for Madrid since missing out on that England squad, though, and Tuchel has recalled the midfielder for the upcoming games against Serbia and Albania.

And while Tuchel has previously suggested he has not been wholly impressed by Bellingham's attitude, the England boss has now dismissed such concerns.

"There is no problem with him, there is no problem with the character," Tuchel said.

"Jude just has the edge, it is a very good thing because you need a certain edge to reach the heights that he reached and I think we all need to help him and encourage him and create an environment, which he can live this edge towards the opponents and towards the goals we are building as a team.

"There was a decision to be made. [Jude] accepted the decision, and he did what he does best.

"He competed on the highest level, and he showed that he deserves and has to be in the squad."
