Conceicao completes permanent Juventus move after successful loan spell
After a successful loan spell with Juventus in 2024-25, Francisco Conceicao has rejoined the Serie A giants on a permanent deal from Porto.
Francisco Conceicao has put pen to paper on a permanent deal with Juventus, rejoining from Porto after a successful loan stint in 2024-25.
Conceicao, who has signed a five-year contract with the Serie A giants, arrives in Turin for a reported total fee of €30.4m, which will be paid in four instalments.
The deal comes just weeks after the 22-year-old's loan spell with Juventus came to an end following their elimination in the last 16 of the Club World Cup.
Conceicao made 40 appearances across all competitions for Juventus last season, scoring seven goals and providing four assists as Igor Tudor's team finished fourth in Serie A.
Only Kenan Yildiz (93) completed more dribbles than Conceicao (71) for the Bianconeri in all competitions, while the Portugal international created 39 chances, the sixth-highest tally for the team.
He also recorded 167 touches in the opposition's penalty area, a total only bettered by Dusan Vlahovic (203), with his return further bolstering Juventus' attack ahead of 2025-26.
Conceicao becomes the Bianconeri's second permanent addition of the summer window, having already completed the free transfer of Lille's Jonathan David earlier this month.
"Francisco Conceicao is officially a Juventus player on a permanent basis," a Juventus statement said.
"After spending the 2024-25 season on loan from FC Porto, the Portuguese winger has now signed a contract that ties him to the Bianconeri until 2030.
"The move comes just weeks after Conceicao's loan spell ended with Juventus' run at the FIFA Club World Cup in the United States of America.
"Now, the 22-year-old will be staying with a permanent contract signed and sealed. Congratulations, Chico – we can't wait to see you back out on the pitch!"
Juventus begin their 2025-26 Serie A campaign against Parma on August 24.
