Ricardo Pepi salvaged a point for PSV in the Champions League, while Folarin Balogun netted the winner for Monaco against Bodo/Glimt.

Ricardo Pepi scored in the 93rd minute as PSV rescued a point against Olympiacos in the Champions League on Tuesday.

PSV had a goal ruled out 12 minutes in at the Georgios Karaiskakis Stadium for an obvious offside call on Ismael Saibari, and Gelson Martins fired Olympiacos ahead just five minutes later.

Chiquinho played a lofted through ball over the top for Martins, who slammed a powerful finish into the roof of the net to give Matej Kovar absolutely no chance.

Martins nearly added a second after the break but saw a sideways volley denied by the bar before Paul Wanner squandered a golden chance at the other end, sending a wicked left-footed shot wide of the post.

Olympiacos pushed for another goal late on as Martins fired wide, but Pepi scrambled in a 93rd-minute equaliser after a long free-kick fell kindly to him inside the box.

Monaco, meanwhile, were fortunate to edge a tight 1-0 victory over Bodo/Glimt at the Aspmyra Stadion, courtesy of a fine finish from Folarin Balogun.

Maghnes Akliouche fizzed an effort wide early on as Monaco searched for the opener before teeing up Balogun with a lovely one-two in the 43rd minute, and the striker made no mistake with a powerful near-post finish.

Bodo responded almost immediately as Kasper Hogh saw a good effort denied by the woodwork on the stroke of half-time.

The hosts created the better chances in the second half but lacked the finishing touches, and were all but resigned to defeat 82 minutes in when substitute Jostein Gundersen was shown a straight red card following a VAR review for a reckless challenge on Mika Biereth.

PSV are 17th in the Champions League standings, while Monaco are just a step behind in 18th, while Bodo and Olympiacos remain winless, in 27th and 31st place, respectively.

Data Debrief: Pepi equals Ronaldo and Aguero

Pepi built on his late impact against Napoli last time out, and he is no stranger to a last-gasp goal.

The American has now scored three result-changing goals in second-half stoppage time in the Champions League, tying Cristiano Ronaldo and Sergio Aguero for the most in the history of the competition.

Martins, meanwhile, netted just his second Champions League goal, and his first since 2017.
