Paris Saint-Germain forward Kylian Mbappe was deemed fit enough to start Tuesday's Champions League semi-final with RB Leipzig in Lisbon.

Kylian Mbappe returned to Paris Saint-Germain's starting line-up for their Champions League semi-final with RB Leipzig after recovering from injury.

The France star played 30 minutes from the bench in last week's dramatic 2-1 win over Atalanta after being forced to sit out the Coupe de la Ligue win over Lyon with an ankle injury.

However, Thomas Tuchel confirmed on Monday that Mbappe is fit enough to start against Leipzig in Lisbon and the forward took the place of the benched Mauro Icardi.

Angel Di Maria also returned in attack after missing the quarter-final through suspension and Leandro Paredes was recalled in midfield - Idrissa Gueye and Pablo Sarabia the players to make way.

There was a change in goal, too, with Sergio Rico starting after coming on for hamstring injury victim Keylor Navas during the closing stages against Atalanta.

Julian Nagelsmann made one change to the Leipzig side that pulled off a shock 2-1 win over Atletico Madrid in the last round, bringing in Nordi Mukiele for Marcel Halstenberg in a straight swap at the back.

Marcel Sabitzer retained his place on the right side of attacking midfield and was looking to build on a record of six goals involvements in his last six Champions League matches.
